Sunday brunch is taking on a comforting Korean casualness at revel in Fremont.

The newest invention of Joule's Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi, revel's kitchen side butcher block dining bar is the hottest seat in the house.

What keeps me coming back....the Porridge - Kabocha lightly pickled and married with rum raisins and brown sugar.

If you want more of the savory go with the Andouille, Shrimp and ginger-scallion topped porridge.

Be sure to sit next to someone so you can at least sample the salted maple syrup.
